In this, leading Tamil film music composer Sam CS has been announced as the recipient of the Tamil Nadu State Award for Best Music Director for the film ‘Puriyaatha Puthir’, released in 2016. Sam CS, who has captivated audiences with his unique background scores and melodies that subtly express emotions, receiving this award has created immense excitement and joy among his music fans.
Sam CS, who has consistently garnered attention in South Indian cinema across Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages with his distinctive background music, began his career with films like ‘Oru Iravu’ and ‘Ambuli’. Following this, the thrilling and emotional music he created for many successful films including Kaithi, Vikram Vedha, Adanga Maru, RDX, Pushpa 2, and Mahavatar Narasimha, greatly impressed both fans and critics.
