Poet @ThamizhachiTh:

I got this book in hand a couple of days back, I have been going to multiple events and functions since then. But I could not keep the book aside, wherever I go I’m taking it and reading it how much ever I can as it is so intriguing. @erasaravanan is an astonishing person and writer. I can’t pass by casually saying it is just a story, the characters are so realistic and relatable, it will connect to everyone in one way or the other.

I have been to Keerathurai, an area in Madurai where multiple generational murders have happened. I was shocked to heard their stories, even the women in those families are so bound in violence despite being relatives. As a person who has heard so many real-life violent stories, this novel is so deep and sensitive. An English writer has once stated, ‘Stories can Cure us’. Even though it is a story about gangsters, there is so much takeaway for Era. Saravanan’s writing.
