Speaking at the event, producer Kannan Ravi said,

My fascination with cinema began after watching ‘Rajaraja Chozhan’, the first film released in Cinemascope. After that, I would read many books. I would listen to and enjoy the speeches of those who spoke intelligently. Recently, I even enjoyed listening to Seeman’s speech.
I watch most of the films released in Tamil. Even today, when I go home around 12 AM, a film in some language or another will be playing on the TV. That’s why, even when choosing this story, we listened to the entire story.
I ask the directors who come to narrate stories to tell the complete story. Because I believe that if I like the story, others will like it too. If I don’t like the story narrated by the storytellers, I confidently reply, “Prepare a better story and come back.” I have the intention and plans to continue producing films.
I liked this story immediately. It’s a subject that no one has touched before. Also, Jeeva had confidence in this story. I also believed that this film would be different in his career. This film gave me only 80 percent satisfaction. I have already conveyed this to the director. If there had been a few more comedy scenes, it would have been a huge blockbuster.
We promoted this film extensively in a short period and made it reach the people. Because nowadays, even if good films are released, they only run successfully in theaters for three or four days. By the time fans hear about the film and go to the theater, the film is already removed from the screens. For this film, we did all kinds of promotions in a single day and brought the film to the people.
From now on, all my films will be released simultaneously in a thousand theaters worldwide. This is one of my plans. Wherever Tamils ​​are in this world, I will screen my films there.
My goal is not money; we are working hard for the good reputation that our company has delivered a quality film. Since we are producing more than ten films at the same time, we are working without worrying about success or failure,” he said.

“All the crew members who are with me on this stage stayed together like a family in Kumily for four or five months. We all worked together on this film with a good heart. This film has been released and has found a place in everyone’s hearts. We worked with the sole intention of winning the hearts of the Tamil people. We can talk endlessly about the shooting experiences. The fact that everyone worked together is one of the reasons for this great success under the leadership of our leader, Thambi. Therefore, my first thanks go to director Nithish, who is the primary reason for this. He is the hero of this film. He brought out the talent of every artist gathered here.
Everyone says this is a small film. But as far as we are concerned, this is a very big film. The director initially said that the film would be completed within two hours. We discussed that the story of the film should be a little longer for television and digital platforms. After seeing the contribution of the actors on the set, the director and the writers would improve each scene.
