Women being taken for granted and getting exploited is something that is a common occurrence.
This crime thriller focuses on such a theme and M. S. Murthy has put his best foot forward in executing the theme in an effective manner.
The screenplay has been fashioned in an interesting manner and there is never a dull moment.
The color contrast is noteworthy and the background score is appreciable.
The film also deliberates on the rituals of both Hinduism as well as Buddhism without hurting the sentiments of both.
K. R. Vijaya and P. L. Thenappan cut a fine cameo in brief roles.
The film also delivers a good message.
The premise is set in the backdrop of a high rise apartment complex with two flats – 99 and 66 being the focus of the screenplay.
The mysterious happenings at both the flats form the crux of the plot.
