Grand Inauguration of “KB Sena” in Chennai
— A Call for Unity Among the Kapu and Balija Communities
Chennai: Aimed at fostering unity and the holistic development of the Kapu and Balija communities, the inaugural ceremony of the “KB Sena” (Kapu-Balija Sena) organization was held today in Chennai with great pomp and grandeur. Several prominent figures from the fields of politics, industry, and cinema—hailing from both Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu—participated in the event and emphasized the imperative need for social unity.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Pasupuleti Hariprasad, Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation, issued a call to action: “It is only when we stand united that we can secure our rights. Through KB Sena, we must safeguard our culture and traditions, while simultaneously ensuring that government welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary.”
Mr. Muthuvel Raj, Chairman of the PMR Group, addressed the gathering, stating: “Our community must strive to excel further in the realms of trade and commerce. It is by supporting one another and strengthening ourselves economically that we can attain a distinguished status within society. KB Sena should serve as a bridge to facilitate this unity.”
Renowned film producer Mr. A.M. Rathnam was unanimously elected as the President of this newly formed organization, while Mr. Thammayya Naidu was unanimously elected as its General Secretary. The delegates attending the ceremony expressed their firm confidence that, under their leadership, KB Sena would work tirelessly towards the progress and unity of the community.

Rathnam serving as its President, and Mr. Thammayya Naidu (Architect) serving as its Honorary Secretary. The inauguration ceremony of KB Sena was held with great distinction, featuring Mr. Kandula Durgesh, Minister for Tourism and Cinematography of the Government of Andhra Pradesh, as the Chief Guest.
