‘Love 3.0’ — Featuring Instagram Celebrities, Including G.V. Prakash’s Lead pair!
Driven by a passion for cinema, producer Sivakumar ventured into film production. Seeking to do something innovative, he decided to produce a film featuring personalities who have gained popularity among the public through Instagram. In this spirit, he produced the film ‘Love 3.0’ under the banner of his production company, Monkey Minds Entertainment. The film was written and directed by Rajesh VK. Vedhai P. Mahesh handled the cinematography, while Vaikunth Srinivasan composed the music. Aravind served as the editor, and JP handled the art direction.
In this film, the lead roles are played by celebrities who command hundreds of thousands of followers within the world of Instagram—one of the most powerful social media platforms today.
Aarnika, a celebrity who boasts a following exceeding one million on Instagram, plays the female lead in this film. She is affectionately referred to by everyone as “Reels Akka.” It is noteworthy that she previously played the female lead in the debut film of actor G.V. Prakash—a project that has yet to be released.
The film features two male leads. One is “Coimbatore Mapillai,” who is also a prominent and influential figure within the Instagram community. The second male lead is played by another popular celebrity, Karthikeyan KN (known as “Smiley”).
The film’s “First Look” (the initial visual reveal) and “Title Look” (the title reveal) were unveiled at the Marina Mall located on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR). Film producer Soundar attended the launch ceremony—which took place amidst a crowd of onlookers surrounding the stage on all sides—as the special guest. Soundar is the producer behind the film Rajavin Parvaiyile, which famously starred both Vijay and Ajith. Furthermore, the event was attended by Ranjith Kumar, the director of the film Sambavam, as well as lyricist and poet Sorkko.
Speaking at the event, the film’s lead actress, Aarnika, said:
“I would like to thank the director for selecting me to act in this film. This movie explores the nature of love as experienced by the current generation; I believe it will appeal to everyone. I am confident that I have done justice to the challenging role assigned to me. I request your continued support as I embark on my journey in the film industry.”
The film’s lead actor, Karthikeyan K.N. Smiley, spoke next:
“I started out by creating small-scale content on Instagram, and that journey has now led me to this very stage. I am grateful to the director for placing his trust in me and offering me this opportunity. I seek your continued support. I have come all the way from Rajapalayam to Chennai, placing my faith in you; I truly hope that you will extend your support to me.”
The event was attended by the film’s cast and crew, as well as friends and well-wishers.
