Produced by ZHEN STUDIOS and directed by Ashok Kumar Kalaivani, “Nee Forever” is a feature film crafted around the lives and romances of today’s youth, centering on the theme of modern-day love.
This film is set to hit theaters starting March 27th. Following the success of their previous film “Tharunam,” this movie marks the second production venture for producers Pugazh and Eden, and it has been produced on a grand scale.
The film’s music and trailer launch ceremony was held as a grand celebration, attended by the cast and crew, and conducted in the presence of friends from the print and visual media.

Subsequently, they groomed me for the specific role and continued to offer me constant encouragement. One day, when I went home sporting the look required for the character, my mother simply laughed. There is one thing I have always believed in: if one possesses good intentions, good things will inevitably happen. This film stands as a testament to that belief. Last year, I released the film Tharunam; I had planned that it would definitely be a success, and that I could use the proceeds from it to complete this current project. However, that film did not perform as expected, creating a situation where we were compelled to halt this project entirely. We have brought this project to life as a feature film. Initially, a different cast was slated to star in it; however, following various hurdles, Darshan and Archana have ultimately taken on the lead roles. Everyone involved has poured their heart and soul into working on this movie. Mr. Y.G. Mahendran offered us immense support. I admit I gave our music composer a hard time, but in return, he has delivered truly magnificent music. The songs have received an overwhelming reception. Sudarshan visited the office every single day, offering his unwavering support throughout the process. Both the cast and the technical crew have given their absolute best. This film is crafted with the world of today’s Gen-Z generation at its core. The story revolves around a couple who connect through a modern dating app, and the subsequent consequences that unfold in their lives as a result. Blending elements of comedy and romance, the film has been crafted as a delightful “love drama” designed to appeal to audiences from all walks of life.
Sudarshan Govind—the title winner of the 6th season of Naalaya Iyakunar (Tomorrow’s Director)—stars as the male lead, while Archana Ravi—a debutante actress from Kerala and winner of the “Miss South India 2016” title—plays the female lead. Joining them in the cast are Y.G. Mahendran, Nizhalgal Ravi, M.J. Sriram, Rethika Srinivas, Chella, Brinda, Dr. Vidya, Pradosh, Sneha Sakthi, and many others.
The audio rights for the film’s soundtrack have been acquired by the renowned music label, Saregama. Furthermore, it is noteworthy that Netflix—a leading OTT platform—has secured the digital streaming rights for the film, which will become available for viewing following its theatrical release.
