JP Cinemas’ Production Number 1’s opening ceremony
A fantasy comedy film centered around an old camera
Director Nithilan Swaminathan inaugurated JP Cinemas’ ‘Production Number One’
The opening ceremony of ‘Production Number One’, a film produced by JP Cinemas under the direction of producer Jayakumar and Preethi and starring Muneeskanth and directed by debutant director Ashok Ram, was held in Chennai. Nithilan Swaminathan, the director of ‘Maharaja’, attended as a special guest and congratulated the film crew.
Directed by debutant Ashok Ram, the untitled film stars Muneeskanth, Redin Kingsley, Balaji Sakthivel, Vivek Prasanna, Kalki, Jensen Diwakar, Vinod Munna, Ananya Rao and others. Sridhar Subramani is handling the cinematography and Anand Kasinath is composing the music for the film. N. P. Srikanth is handling the editing while V. Shanmugaraja is handling the art direction. Ram Kumar is handling the fight rehearsals, Sri Nisha Balaji is handling the costume design and Chanda Dos is handling the choreography. The film, which is being made as a fantasy comedy film, is being produced by producer Jayakumar on behalf of JP Cinemas.
Talking about the film, the director said, “This film is being made in the fantasy comedy genre with an old camera as the centerpiece. For this, we are setting up a grand stage in Chennai and shooting in it.”
