JioHotstar’s new creation ‘Resort’ – airing from March 13!
JioHotstar has announced its next action-packed web series ‘Resort’. The series will air from March 13. It is scheduled to air 4 new episodes every Friday.
Vijay Kumar Rajendran of ‘Erumai Sani’ fame has not only played the lead role in this series but has also written the story. Vijay Kumar Rajendran has joined hands with Praveen Bennett, a leading director of the small screen, for the first time through this series.
The story moves in a fictional luxury resort called ‘RR Resort’. Vetri, a housekeeping employee who has no formal education but is extremely talented in the art of cooking, dreams of becoming a great chef. The series revolves around the intense conflict between his ambition on one side and the oppression of power at work on the other.
‘Thalaivasal’ Vijay plays the role of the angry head chef and the main villain of the story. He portrays the hectic atmosphere of the kitchen with his menacing performance. Along with them, many stars including Keerthi Amar, Abhinaya Netran, Darshana Sripal, Sai Tanya and Patava Gopi play important roles.
‘Resort’ is expected to be a complete entertainment series that mixes comedy, drama, ambition and the antics that take place in the backdrop of a luxury hotel.
The Resort series will be aired on JioHotstar from March 13, every Friday in 4 episodes.
