Arunraja Kamaraj Sings a Police Theme Song for the Film ‘Buried’

Following Dhanush’s ‘Kaala’, Arunraja Kamaraj Lends His Voice to the Film ‘Buried’

‘Buried’ is a film currently being produced under the banners of Dream House and Jain Creations. Haroon, the director known for the film ‘Web’, has written and directed this movie.

Vetri—the actor who rose to fame with ‘8 Thottakkal’—stars as the protagonist in this film, playing the role of an encounter specialist police officer. Hyderabad-based actresses Akshitha and Chandini Tamilarasan play the female leads. Balaji Sakthivel, Singampuli, Saravanan Subbiah, ‘Rubber Bandhu’ Jenson Divakar, and Vadivel Murugan are among those playing pivotal supporting roles.

John Robbins is composing the music for this film, which is being crafted as an investigative thriller.

The title look poster for ‘Buried’ was released recently. Following this release, a song sung by director-cum-singer Arunraja Kamaraj for the film is set to be released very soon. Speaking on the matter, Director Haroon stated, “Actor Vetri plays the role of an ‘encounter specialist’ officer in this film. Upon assuming this responsibility, he executes a series of bold and decisive operations within the police force. To effectively portray this aspect of his character, we decided to compose a dedicated theme song for the police—much like the one featured in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu.

We felt that Arunraja Kamaraj would be the ideal choice to render this track, so we approached him and had him record it. The lyrics for this song were penned by Junior Nithya, who rose to fame during the COVID-19 pandemic with the popular track ‘Stove Mela Kadai.’

It is noteworthy that immediately after writing and singing a song for the upcoming film Karnan—starring Dhanush—Arunraja Kamaraj lent his voice to our film, Pareed. The principal photography for Pareed has been completed, and post-production work is currently proceeding at a brisk pace. The film’s first single is scheduled to be released very soon.”
