Marrying in haste following a hurried romance eventually leading to a quick divorce seems to be a common occurrence these days!
The premise of this flick, involving two pairs of lovers, has its screenplay woven tactfully by the A. R. Gandhi Krishna who is known for toying with expected twists and turns, set around a newly wed couple who go to the Court for divorce through mutual concurrence.
Prior to the grant of divorce, the Judge directs them to go through a Counselling Session by a seasoned lawyer (Kasthuri) who narrates a story to them about a pair of lovers who fought tooth and nail to get separated!
The screenplay talks about the journey of these two couples with an interesting element of suspense connecting the women characters in an unexpected manner leaving to a moving climax that delivers a definite message.
Raanav and Rosmin are quite impressive while senior actor Sampath Raj is assertive.
Archana is just a silent spectator forming part of the film’s emotional quotient!
G. V. Prakash’s music is an asset.
M. V. Paneerselvam’s camera work speaks for itself especially in the song and dance sequences shot abroad! One has to read through the lines to understand the interpretation of the title!
