South India’s First Pan-India Music Album: ‘Heartkulla’!
Composed by Achu Rajamani and directed by Vikash Nagaraj, the Pan-India music album ‘Heartkulla’ has been released!
At a time when the reception for independent music is steadily growing across South India, ‘Heartkulla’ emerges as a lively, romantic track designed to captivate the youth. Notably, this music album—produced in multiple languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi—holds the distinction of being South India’s very first Pan-India music album.
Composed and sung by Achu Rajamani—a prominent music director active across the South Indian film industries of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—the lyrics for this song were penned by Gana Sallu, who is known for writing political anthems for the T.V.K. and for actor Vijay.
Crafted under the musical direction of Achu Rajamani—who has delivered numerous hit and trending songs in Tamil through films such as Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakkathile, Goli Soda 2, Vizhithiru, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, and Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan—‘Heartkulla’ has been created with the specific intent of winning over the hearts of the younger generation.
The music album ‘Heartkulla’ was directed by Vikash Nagaraj, who previously directed the music video for the reimagined version of the song “Nisarisa” (originally composed by A.R. Rahman), performed by the renowned singer Chandralekha Anupama. The cinematography was handled by Johnram.
Starring TJ Arunachalam and Vishakha Diman, this music album was produced by Prabhat Kranthi Reddy under the banner of Prabhat Productions.
Released by Saregama, the music album ‘Heartkulla’ premiered on March 31st.
