A grand tribute event was organized by the students of Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management to honour Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. S. Joseph Vijay, in the presence of actor Mr. Sanjeev a close friend of the Chief Minister and Mr. R. Boominaathan -Chairman of Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions.
The event was held at the Chennais Amirta International Aviation College, Royapettah, Chennai, where students showcased the inspiring journey of Shri. S. Joseph Vijay — from his film career to his political journey — through artistic sculptures carved entirely from vegetables and fruits.
The exhibition was inaugurated by actor Mr. Sanjeev, and Mr. R. Boominaathan ,Chairman of Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions. A total of 69 sculptures were created, representing milestones from Vijay’s debut film Naalaiya Theerpu to Jananayagan. The sculptures were meticulously crafted by the students of Chennais Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management over a period of 10 days, reflecting exceptional creativity, dedication, and teamwork.
Actor Mr. Sanjeev, while visiting the exhibition, highly appreciated the students for their remarkable artistic talent and hard work. He also congratulated Mr. Boominaathan for continuously creating platforms that encourage and showcase student talent while contributing significantly to skill-based education.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Boominaathan stated that Chennais Amirta Group of Institutions has been making notable contributions in the fields of hotel management, aviation, and allied sectors by preparing students for successful careers in leading national and international organizations. He added that the institution takes pride in organizing such innovative programs that highlight students’ creativity and practical skills.
The event not only celebrated the achievements and journey of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. S. Joseph Vijay but also served as a proud platform to showcase the extraordinary talents of Chennais Amirta students.
