‘Angikaram’ Movie Trailer Garners Widespread Acclaim!!
Produced by Swastik Visions, starring newcomer K.J.R as the protagonist, and directed by Thenpathiyan—who previously served as an assistant director under filmmaker Pa. Ranjith—the trailer for the film Angikaram has been released and is currently receiving accolades from both fans and the film fraternity.
Based on several real-life incidents and centered around the world of athletics, this film has been crafted to shed light on the hardships faced by athletes and the systemic flaws plaguing the sports sector.
The recently released trailer features emotionally charged sequences and powerful dialogue, depicting an athlete’s legal battle to secure the recognition he deserves. These elements not only effectively establish the film’s premise but also generate significant anticipation among the audience.
It is noteworthy that, for this film, a highly realistic court complex set was constructed at a cost of ₹75 lakhs, where key scenes were subsequently filmed.
It is significant that Angikaram marks the debut of K.J.R as a lead actor. He is joined by a talented ensemble cast that includes Viji Venkatesh, Ajith Koshy, Sindhuri Viswanath, Anthony, Rangaraj Pandey, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mohanram, and others.
Ghibran has composed the music for the film, while A. Viswanath handled the cinematography. Peter Hein choreographed the action sequences, while Dinesh Kumar oversaw the editing.
