“Angikaram,” Certified ‘U’ by the Film Censor Board, Set for Release on June 26th.
Notably, the film “Angikaram”—which has already garnered significant attention through its trailer, dialogues, and first single—has been certified as a film suitable for all audiences by the Censor Board, earning a ‘U’ certificate.
Produced by Swastik Visions and directed by Thenpathiyan, “Angikaram” stars debutant actor K.J.R. in the lead role. The film’s trailer and its first single, “Satta Satta Satta Saandrorae,” have already been released and are currently receiving a warm reception from fans. Composed by Ghibran and penned by lyricist Karthik Netha, the song “Satta Satta Satta Saandrorae” has been sung by Vaikom Vijayalakshmi. Featuring profound themes that question both the legal system and society, this song has successfully captured the attention of many.
Based on several real-life incidents, “Angikaram” has been crafted as a film that addresses the struggles faced by athletes and chronicles their journey in their quest for recognition. The movie centers on the story of an athlete who takes his fight to the courts to reclaim a right that was unjustly denied to him.
It is noteworthy that the dialogues in this film—directed by Thenpathiyan, a former assistant director to filmmaker Pa. Ranjith—have become a major talking point among audiences.
