Chief Minister Vijay Should Pay Homage at the Quaid-e-Millath Memorial:
A Plea from Film Actor J.M. Basheer!
In a statement issued today, film actor J.M. Basheer stated:
“Oh, Leader—a Wonder of the World!
Oh, True Guardian of Minority Communities!
We humbly request that on the upcoming June 5th—the birth anniversary of the dignified Quaid-e-Millath—you visit his memorial, located within the premises of the historic Big Mosque in Triplicane, Chennai, and drape a ceremonial golden shawl over his tomb with your own auspicious hands.
You are the only leader in the history of Tamil Nadu politics to have, for the very first time, established a coalition government; by doing so, you enabled the Indian Union Muslim League—founded by Quaid-e-Millath—to share in the governance, elevating a party member to the rank of Minister—a truly magnificent achievement to behold.
Your fame grows greater with each passing day.
Your words invariably come true.
You are a visionary endowed with the extraordinary power to foresee and predict future events with prophetic clarity.
Following in the footsteps of Quaid-e-Millath—who advocated for equal rights for Muslim women—you are the remarkable leader who has appointed a Muslim woman from the Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam as a Member of the Legislative Assembly.
You are the leader who, during your very first legislative assembly session, declared that yours would be a government dedicated to safeguarding the welfare of minorities.
You are the leader who has pushed aside—and torn away the false masks of—all those who have hitherto deceived the public by falsely claiming to be the ‘protectors’ of minority communities.
We, who once felt lost and directionless, shall henceforth follow steadfastly behind you forever.”
Film actor J.M. Basheer concluded his statement by asserting that the very first act of granting a ministerial portfolio to a member of the Muslim League party is what has truly established him as a “Leader—a Wonder of the World.”
