Directed by Savir Sudhakar and produced by Singaravelan for the SS Group, this six-episode Tamil original series serves as a heartfelt tribute to cricket fans and the extraordinary lengths they go to for the sport they love.
Co-written by Savir Sudhakar, Naveen Rajkumar, Kalai Selvan, and Vinu Karthikeyan, the series features Vaibhav Murugesan, Lavanya Anbazhagan, Venkata Balamurali, Jagabar Sadiq, ‘Naan Kadavul’ Rajendran, and Vivek Prasanna in key roles. With cinematography by P.M. Rajkumar, editing by Pavithran, and art direction by Tamilselvan BFA, Mammattiyan Stars beautifully captures the excitement, emotion, and camaraderie that define Tamil Nadu’s cricket culture.
Mammattiyan Stars revolves around a group of die-hard cricket fans from a small village who embark on an unforgettable journey to Chennai to witness their hero’s final match in person.
