South Indian Film Writers Association (SWAN) Elections 2026–2029: TFAPA Congratulates the Newly Elected Team
The Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected Office-Bearers and Executive Committee Members of the South Indian Film Writers Association (SWAN) for the 2026–2029 term from the elections held on 19th July 2026.

• Treasurer: Director Thiru R. Sundararajan
• Vice-Presidents: Director Thiru P. Samuthirakani and Lyricist Thiru Snehan
• Joint Secretaries: Directors Thiru Ravi Mariya, Thiru Bhaskar Sakthi, Thiru V. Prabhakar, and Kavingar Thiru Muthulingam
We also congratulate the 12 Executive Committee Members elected to serve the Association during this tenure.
Film writers form the very foundation of cinema. The strength of a film lies in the quality of its writing, making screenplay writers the driving force behind meaningful and successful filmmaking. At a time when Tamil cinema is undergoing significant transformation, it is essential to encourage, recognize, and empower the creative minds who shape compelling stories through their writing.
