Trailer Launch of the Movie ‘Enna Vilai’!
‘Enna Vilai’ is written and directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sajeev Pazhoor and produced by Jithesh Viswambaran and Anugopal Venugopalan under the banner of Kalamaya Cineverse. Starring Karunas, Nimisha Sajayan, and others, the film is set to release in theaters on September 17. The trailer launch event for the movie was held recently.
Producer Jithesh Viswambaran said, “This film will serve as an example for many small yet significant things. Along with the film crew, the people of Rameswaram have put in tremendous hard work for this project. I hope you will reward that effort.”

Please watch the movie and share your feedback.” Actor Karunas said, “I began my cinematic journey in 2001 in Rameswaram, playing the character ‘Lodukku Pandi’ under the direction of Bala anna. I have always been an avid fan of Malayalam cinema, so I harbored a strong desire to work with Malayalam writers, directors, and technicians—a wish that has now come true. This film is about ordinary people, which is why the director chose actors who bring a natural authenticity to their roles. Although I may not currently command a massive market value, the producers placed their trust in me and invested seven crore rupees in this project; that is the extent of their faith in the story. Director Sajeev has raised a question in this film that has never been posed before in Indian cinema. This movie has fulfilled a dream I have cherished for twenty years.
Nimisha has delivered a brilliant performance as the lawyer. The director has skillfully cast the perfect actors for every role. It is heartening that a leading OTT platform like Netflix acquired the film even before its release. This is a movie that is very close to my heart—the most significant one for me since Nandha.
