LK Akshay Kumar’s Next Big Move… A New Crime Drama Takes Shape!
Production has officially commenced on the next film starring LK Akshay Kumar, an actor who impresses in every role and genre!
A new film starring young actor LK Akshay Kumar—who previously captured audience attention with the movie Sirai—has officially launched today with a traditional pooja ceremony. Known for selecting diverse storylines and showcasing unique facets of his acting in every project, LK Akshay Kumar is set to star in this upcoming crime drama, the shooting of which has also begun today.
Producer S. S. Lalit Kumar is producing the film under the Seven Screen Studio banner, with L. K. Vishnu Kumar serving as the co-producer. Suraj Venjaramoodu and Chethan play pivotal roles alongside LK Akshay Kumar.
Prominent figures from the film industry attended the launch ceremony to offer their best wishes to the team. Attendees included directors H. Vinoth, Siruthai Siva, R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, Suresh Rajakumari, and Vignesh Vadivel; producers R. K. Selvamani, T. Siva, G. Dhananjayan, Five Star Senthil, Five Star Kalyan, Arun Viswa, Sabari, and Vijay; as well as cinematographer Arthur Wilson.
The film marks the directorial debut of Vishnu Amaran. He brings with him valuable experience gained while working as an assistant to acclaimed director H. Vinoth. Having worked on films directed by H. Vinoth—such as Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, and Jananayagan—Vishnu Amaran is now embarking on his new journey as a director with this project. A team of talented artists has come together for the film’s technical crew. Saravanan Ramasamy handles cinematography, while Hesham Abdul Wahab composes the music. Kalaivanan R. is in charge of editing, and Aarthi Neelakrishnan handles costume design. P.S. Hariharan oversees art direction. Ambani (ADFX) manages publicity design, and Action Santhosh choreographs the stunt sequences. Manikandan serves as the executive producer, with Arun K acting as the creative producer.
Filming is scheduled to take place in Chennai, Kodaikanal, and Kolkata. Centered around diverse settings and varied characters, the film aims to offer a fresh experience within the crime drama genre.
LK Akshay Kumar, who garnered attention for his performance in the film Sirai, subsequently played a completely different role in Ravadi. His character particularly stood out to audiences in the teaser and promotional videos for Ravadi. His portrayal of a college student with a distinct look highlighted his approach of selecting unique roles for every film.
Now, LK Akshay Kumar is starring in a crime drama—a genre vastly different from Ravadi. This new film marks another unique project in his journey of avoiding typecasting and consistently choosing fresh storylines and diverse characters. Directed by debutant Vishnu Amaran, the film has already generated significant anticipation following its launch ceremony.
