The first look for the film ‘John Doe’—starring Arjun Das and directed by Madhumita—has been released. The film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under the banner of Arka Mediaworks.
Written by director Madhumita and screenwriter Nicholas Chevaillier, ‘John Doe’ features a cast that includes Arjun Das, Sanjana Natarajan, Srushti, Zara Vineet Santokh, and Neerav. The film is cinematographed by Preetha Jayaraman (ISC), with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed and additional music provided by the band ‘Artist 404.’ Vijay Venkataramanan serves as the editor, and Ashwini Kale is the production designer.
Speaking about the film, the director notes, “Who is ‘John Doe’? Is he a victim, a murderer, a missing child, or someone who has yet to be identified? The film unfolds as an intriguing story centered around this mystery.” In this story, the line between what is known and what is believed begins to blur. As the protagonist, Chandru, embarks on a journey to find answers to the questions arising within him, he is confronted by a deeper, more unsettling question: what if no one is prepared to face the truth about ‘John Doe’? The screenplay has been crafted in such a way that the audience will not easily be able to guess the answer to this question,” he stated.
There is immense anticipation among fans for the film ‘John Doe,’ which brings together a talented team: the production house Arka Mediaworks—known for the grand epic ‘Baahubali’—along with actor Arjun Das and director Madhumita.
Adding to the excitement, the ‘first look’ released by the film crew has received a fantastic response and captured everyone’s attention. It features Arjun Das, who plays the protagonist Chandru, in a police uniform; the inclusion of a toy in his hand within the title reveal has further piqued the audience’s interest and heightened their expectations for the film.
Notably, this marks the first time actor Arjun Das has appeared in a police uniform on screen, a detail that has generated great enthusiasm among his fans and the audience alike.
