Following the success of its previous season, Sattamum Needhiyum, the sizzling second season is on, showcasing a power packed screenplay that keeps the viewers guessing all the time!
Even if very many of those who have committed crimes escape from the clutches of the Law, not a single individual should be punished, even, inadvertently –
Here, the director has taken up the first part of the above statement and carried it up to the next higher level!
A bunch of cops are charged with the murder of a senior cop (Prem Kumar) whose wife, an advocate
(Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar), is all set, to convict the bunch of cops, for the alleged murder of her cop husband.
A simple looking lawyer (Saravanan) with no airs around him whatsoever, takes up the cause of the cops charged with that murder!
From then on, it a battle of wits between the two representatives of Law and the climax reveals who wins at last!
But that’s not the end as the case gets reopened with a stunning twist!
While Saravanan and Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar are effective in their respective portrayals, the others in the cast are pushed to the background but they too manage to make their presence felt! Kallori Vinoth has been cast in a meaty role here and he too has delivered well.
A well crafted and executed crime thriller that showcases novelty!
