The pathetic plight and predicament of the people in Sri Lanka who lost lives and properties during the war besides being brutally attacked by the Army has been the crux of the plot of very many movies in the past.
But this flick takes a different path in its plot as well as the narration that is both touching and disheartening!
The problems faced by a man who had lost his wife during Army attacks, along with his daughter, both fleeing from their motherland and heading towards Rameswaram forms the format of this movie that wets not only our eyes but our hearts too.
The locals help them both for a temporary settlement, thanks to a petty shop owner and a couple of auto drivers.
The dad daughter relationship has been portrayed in a poetic fashion and both the artistes have performed very realistically…
The film’s length is perfectly set and hence it really moves the heart of the viewers without going overboard on the emotional side!
Abhilash G. Dev’s directorial flashes are noteworthy.
