I was very happy to see the announcement design of the upcoming movie Meiyazhagan, produced by Anbu thambi Surya – Jyothika , written-directed by Anbuthambi S. Premkumar, starring Anbu Ilaval Karthi and Arvind Swamy in the lead roles.
My heartfelt love and appreciation to the film crew for giving the film a pure Tamil name as ‘Meyyazhagan’ and translating it as ‘Kilarvottam’ in Tamil while everyone is saying it is a teaser in English!
It is excellent that many departments involved in film making are mentioned only in English, such as color composition, photography, field cinematography, silhouette, costume design, advertising design, etc.
I am amazed at how perfect the term kilarottam is!
Only Tamil can create such meaningful terms. Other languages cannot easily create such terms. Many languages won’t work if you remove foreign words. But Tamil is hailed as the superior classical language because of its smoothness even after removing foreign words.
For this reason, I sincerely wish this film a huge success!
