Actor Shabeer Kallarakkal, who found phenomenal response for his amazing performance as ‘Dancing Rose’ in Sarpatta Parambarai and later on continued to win the attention of various regional audiences including Dulquer Salman’s ‘King of Kotha’, has got his kitty filled with many amazing projects in different regional industries. His last year Telugu release ‘Naa Saamy Ranga’, where he shared screen space opposite Nagarjuna was a big hit.

The actor has played a prominent role in a Malayalam movie titled ‘Kondal’, starring the biggest names of the South Indian industry including Pepe, Raj B Shetty and many others. The film has been shot almost 80% across the mid-sea. Sharing his working experience on this film, Shabeer says, “I would say it was both challenging and amazing at the same time. Every morning, we would depart to the mid-sea, which would take almost one and a half hours, shoot over the boat, get back to the shore for lunch, and then again travel back to the same spot to resume shooting. Many had seasickness during this process, and still, we managed to get the shoot done perfectly. The producers have been such a blessing to the entire crew, as they treated everyone as their family. Their hospitality and friendly nature made the process more comfortable. I cannot reveal more about the film, but it’s going to be a special one in my career. The director’s conviction was so intense, that it pushed me out of comfort zone, and escalated my performance.”

Apart from this film, Shabeer has a couple of projects in Tamil that include AR Murugadoss’s film and Pa Ranjith’s production titled ‘Thandakaranyam’, followed by an untitled Telugu project, and Shivarajkumar’s Kannada movie ‘Bhairathi Ranagai’.
