Ponram, who has made a mark for himself by directing successful commercial films like ‘Varutha Padatha Valibar Sangam’, ‘Rajini Murugan’, ‘Seemaraja’, ‘MGR Magan’ and ‘DSP’, has lined up a huge alliance for his next movie.
For the first time, Ponram has joined forces with music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja for this film, which marks the maiden combination of Supreme Star Sarathkumar and Captain Vijayakanth’s son Shanmugapandian.
The film, which is going to be an exciting journey with comedy and action scenes in equal proportion, will be a commercial carnival. It is being produced by Mukesh T. Chelliah under Star Cinemas banner in a huge budget.
Newcomer Tharnika plays the heroine. Starring Kali Venkat, Munishkanth and Kalki Raja, the movie has Balasubramaniam doing the cinematography, Dinesh Ponnuraj handling the editing, Saravana Abiraman taking care of art direction and Meenakshi Narayanasamy designing the costumes. Lyricists Snehan and Yugabharathi are penning the songs. Stunt Master – Phoenix Prabu, Dance master – Azhar.
The film talks about the villages around Theni, Andipatti and Usilampatti and the life of the people there. The movie will be full of action and comedy sequences that are unique to director Ponram.
