A film based on the struggles of a Tamil woman living in Canada “Aakkuai Kapbai”. Produced by R Productions and Lunar Motion Pictures and produced by R. Muthukumar. The film is adapted from the successful play “Arangadal” which has been staged many times and celebrated by the audience. This story was written by a dramatist named Sagapthan. A few changes have been made in this stage play and it has been made into a full-length film. Mathivasan has scripted and directed the story written by Sagapthan. He is an actor who is acting in Tamil films in Canada. The gist of the story – She has been protecting her husband who was in a coma after an accident in Canada for six years and has been raising and educating her six year old daughter amid her many life struggles. How did she overcome the wrong perspective of her relatives and friends who are struggling with life struggles like this? That is the next step. It has been screened that no matter what country a woman lives in, her suffering continues.
Dhunuja and Jayaprakash Danishraj, Senthilmagalingam, Mathivasan and Surabhi are playing the lead roles. Jeevanram Jayam & Deepan Rajalingam have handled the cinematography of the film which was shot entirely in scenic locations in Canada.
