Super Good Subramani who plays supporting characters in every other film has been promoted to play the protagonist in this tale that deliberates on the plight and predicament of innocently hapless villagers who are forced to surrender their agricultural lands to the powers that be (to be read as the Government)
while entertaining proposals to widen highways aided by the local authorities, the District Collector included!
Paraman and a few others oppose the proposal vehemently. On further probing they find out the adjacent lands belonging to powerful bigwigs remain untouched!
They approach an advocate who helps them to file a petition against the Government.
But is this an easy exercise?
No, certainly not!
Paraman (Super Good Subramani) the protagonist faces a lot of trials and tribulations while he remains firm.
The second half pulls up a good number of twists and turns leading to the climax that stands out!
The film has a lot of contemporary references which are factually true!
Like for instance, when the Government acquires properties, they pay not the market price but only the reduced price decided by the Government…
Even premium properties face this lacuna and such issues still at large! With better production values and a stellar cast, the outcome could have been more impactive! But yet, this team has done their best under the available infrastructure!
While the main cast has delivered a good performance, it is disheartening to see Vyapuri in such a miniscule character.
