The title sequence showcases a voice over narration which gives an idea to the viewers that the film is crime thriller laced with emotions but as the screenplay unfolds the proceedings focus more on crime activities but of course with child – based emotions with a bit of romance too but it is the aspect of crime that scores over, even the wrap up portions asserting this observation.
Ranga, who has assumed multiple responsibilities has done a tight rope walking but his struggle to maintain a balance is evident.
Elangovan as Tony is adequate and what is surprising is the contrast in his characterization while compared with his portrayal in his Sivakumarin Sabatham!
Nitin Mehta looks stylish.
The film’s protagonist, Jason shares responsibility with Tony in running a bar.
There is a parallel track with a gang trying to steal money from this bar as well as from other such outlets but soon after money gets stolen from here, things go haywire as it is Covid time.
The Doctor does well but could possibly improvise on her acting quotient! Ranga too could follow suit…
But it is a worthwhile attempt from Ranga whose execution of his own script is good enough for a debutante.
