“School” is a movie produced and directed by R. K. Vidyadharan on behalf of Quantum Film Factory, starring Yogi Babu and with the music of musician Ilayaraja.
Bhumika Chawla, Yogi Babu, K.S. Ravikumar are all playing the lead roles in this film and Nizhalgal Ravi, Bugs, Sams, Priyanka Venkatesh and others are also playing the lead roles.

This school film is a beautiful story. When a creative person gets complete freedom, new ideas come to him. It was with that in mind that we started this Quantum Production Company. When we thought about who to cast in this unique story, Yogi Babu was everyone’s choice. Those who convey small things in a very simple way, reach a large extent when they talk about big things. In this film, he plays the role of a teacher. Bhumika Madam plays a strict teacher. My Guru K.S. Ravikumar Sir plays the role. A large cast of actors like Nizhalgal Ravi, Sams, Priyanka play the roles. Real school students play the roles of students. The musicologist has only seen this film once, but he has paid close attention to even the smallest dialogues and has given a very wonderful music. His music has given a new shape to the film. Thamu is my long-time friend. He has been doing many good things for students, I thank him for coming to this festival. I am very happy. When Vidyadharan sir first called me for this film “School”, he called me for the role of a peon. I don’t think there was anyone for the role of a vaathiyar, he made me a vaathiyar. All I studied was a government school. I have been trying for many years to make a film about the school story I studied. If Vidyadharan sir is willing, we can definitely make it. Damu Annan has come. We all came to act after seeing him, I want to act with him, Anna can act again. Ilayaraja sir is always the king. He has given very good music.
