The film became the highest grossing Kannada film of 2024 upon its theatrical release on Diwali. The social justice thriller is set to premiere in Hindi on Disney+ Hotstar from December 25 for fans across the globe through its global digital presence.
Directed by Dr. Suriya and written by Prashanth Neel, Bagheera tells the story of a gold medal-winning IPS officer Vedant (Sreemurali), who becomes a social vigilante, disillusioned by the limitations of the judiciary. After donning the mask of Bagheera, Vedant faces a powerful villain (Garuda Ram) and a relentless CBI officer (Prakash Roy) in a battle for justice.
Packed with thrilling action sequences, deep emotional baggage, and a stellar cast of Rukmini Vasanth, Rangayana Raghu and Achyut Kumar, Bagheera exemplifies Hombale Films’ commitment to crafting weighty cinematic experiences.
