The new margam called IdabaThaliyalar… is being staged by Asan. Dr. A. Ka. Narthana Karthikeyan, who has researched and designed the divine service of the Devaradiyars, and his students.

About this cultural event, Asan Dr. A. N. Nardhana Karthikeyan said, “IdabaThaliyalar is a new religion that describes how the service of the gods was intertwined with the service of the gods by those who, as servants of the gods, used art as a tool throughout their lives and attained the supreme being Shiva.

Idaba Thaliyalar is the only one that can explain how the role-work-services of the gods in all the six seasons of the pujas held in the temples were artistic.

This event is not an event to showcase the talent of an individual artist, but rather an event to showcase how this art was connected to God.

The primary purpose of this religion is to dedicate art to God again. My students are participating in this event. I am happy for this.”

He further explained about this event and the new religion, “The gods were servants of the gods, the abode of honesty, the sacredness of love and the symbol of service.

These are the gems of the Tamil heritage – those who took Tamil arts to this world – those who lived as a Payanthamil in the thinking of the old Tamils - these..

These are the ones who, with one thought, cooled the soul of the Lord with their artistic service.. who operated with the name of Thevarukku Adiyaar.

This program is dedicated to them – to their artistic service.

Furthermore, this program describes the work of the Devaradiyar during the six periods of pujas held in the temples – Thiruppalli Eguchhi – Kaala Santhi Puja – Uchik Kala Puja – Chayaraksai Puja – Irak Kala Puja – Palliyar Seva – the contribution of the Devaradiyar and their artistic skills.

This cultural program called Idaba Thaliyalar, presented by the Research and Training Center for Indian Art and Culture – the artistic service of the Devaradiyar who have dedicated themselves to serving only Lord Shiva – is being staged for the first time.
