Director Arun told us this story many times and finally we decided to produce it. While making the film, we decided that it should be in line with the current trend and be a film that families would enjoy. Hari Bhaskar, Losliya, Rayan are all young. This is my first stage, when I was in 12th standard, Bala sir’s Tharai Thappattai shooting took place. When I watched it, so many people gathered there. Beyond the success, the crowd itself stood out. That day, I wrote my name as Eshtu Iyakam in the Konar Tamil text I had. I am happy to have reached this place in 10 years. Vasu sir’s co-director Sukumar Annan introduced me to him during a shooting. All this happened through him. He was the one who introduced me to Vasu sir. I took advantage of the opportunity I got from him. When I told this story to Murali sir, he did not react at all and was silent. I was not confident at all. But in the next five minutes, he said we can do this film. Thank you for giving me such a big opportunity. I first met Nitin sir on video call. He also liked the story. I needed support to do this film. I asked Sukumar Anna and he came and worked with me. We chose him after seeing Losliya’s Instagram post because he was the right fit for this character.
