Very strong on the technical side but a tad too long on the script – side, this sea faring adventure drama shot on the high seas in as realistic a manner as possible, gains momentum on the latter half while the first half sets the stage for showcasing what is in store stretching a bit too far!

Owing to some strange happenings in a community that lives and thrives on fishing alongside the sea, they are barred from going into the sea and hence find it hard to survive and sustain!
King and his friends hailing from that community serve a local bigwig who runs a racket of transporting goods, the transfer taking place in the midst of the sea, which could otherwise be termed as smuggling!
The untimely and unexpected death of a boy who joins King and his gang of friends, opens up the eyes of King who realizes the hard way that there is more to what he trades in midsea!
The further turn of events on a stormy night brings in a ghost figure too with a bus load of skeletons thrown in!
The rest is all about the heroism of King!
Divyabharathi doesn’t impress much.
A technically brilliant film that could have possibly tightened the screenplay and the running time as well…
