Kenophobia – fear of empty spaces is the premise upon which the screenplay has been set and the writer director who has assumed responsibility for the Dialogue, Lyrics and Music as well, has fabricated a neat and clean thriller that keeps the audience glued to their seats till the chilling climax that keeps the viewers guessing!
Raju and Maha are both employed while their only son, Tharan, is a school going boy.
Time and again, he comes across mysterious figure clad in black but with a white mask just before him, wherever and whenever he enters an empty space, his residence included!
He shares his fears with his Mom who cajoles him, as a believer while his Dad, a non-believer, does the same as his wife!
Meanwhile, Maha leaves for Australia on an official assignment and Tharan ‘s fears increase in leaps and bounds! He addresses the stranger as Keeno.
The services of those specialists who drive out evil forces are sought but they say that nothing as such is there!
Finally, a psychiatrist is brought in who does the needful.
The casting is perfect and all the three principal characters do more than what is expected from them! Oliver Deny’s camera work is brilliant.
The film certainly deserves to be watched…
