The pre-release event for Santhanam’s ‘Devil’s Double Next Level’, which is being produced by Niharika Entertainment under the banner The Show People and will be released in theaters worldwide on the 16th, was held in Chennai on a grand scale.
Directed by S. Prem Anand, who directed ‘D.D. Returns’, ‘Devil’s Double Next Level’ features a star cast including Santhanam, Geethika Tiwari, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, Mottai Rajendran, Maran, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley, Yashika Anand. The director and producer noticed this and asked us, and then we managed. But Arya did not let go of the title of comedy superstar. In the film ‘Settai’, he made it appear as Comedy Superstar Santhanam in the title. When I was acting with superstar Rajinikanth in the film ‘Lingaa’, he asked me if I was a comedy superstar. I laughed and explained that that was what my friend Arya did.
Director Anand narrated the story of this film to Arya and he liked it too. The work on the film began. At this point, I planned to buy a house in the suburbs of Chennai, renovate it and move there with my family. While I was working on this, my wife and mother would visit that house every Friday and light a lamp and worship. At this point, Arya called me once and told me that I was in the process of renovating the house and he immediately came to that house. He looked around the entire house and said that he would demolish the house and build a new one. When I refused, Arya called his friend and started demolishing the house. I did not inform him about this at our house. Next week, my mother and wife are going to that house. They were shocked to see that there was no house there. After that, they called me and said that the house was missing. After that, I told them what happened. I also told them that it would be good if Arya told me. Then my mother asked if you both would act like this in the film. Would you be like this in real life? Our friendship is at this level.
In our friendship that started with the film ‘Kalluriyin Katha’, we were never afraid of anything. We will do anything bravely. We will live happily as long as we live. We will face whatever comes. That one power is what has made him stand here as a producer. It has also elevated me as a hero.
