Suriya’s bilingual film ‘#Suriya 46’ written and directed by Venky Atluri, starring him in the lead role, was grandly launched in Hyderabad
Setting the stage for a new cinematic experience for the audience, Sithara Entertainment’s ‘Production No. 33 – #Suriya 46’ was launched in Hyderabad with a grand pooja. This marks the start of work on a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu. The film, which will be a collaboration between Suriya and Venky Atluri, has created a lot of anticipation in the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
Suriya, who has a huge fan base in Telugu as well, continues to cross creative boundaries with his choice of characters and versatility. His 46th film, ‘#Suriya 46’ – a full-fledged bilingual film under the banner of Sithara Entertainment’s ‘Production No. 33’. And it ensures a different cinematic experience for Tamil and Telugu audiences.
Director Venky Atluri’s recent films like ‘Saar/Vaathi’ and ‘Lucky Bhaskar’ have been a consistent hit. Venky Atluri, known for his unique storytelling, is now teaming up with Suriya. He is raising the expectations for this film, promising to be a departure from the usual and something extraordinary.
‘Premalu’ stars fan favourite Mameetha Baiju as the female lead. Raveena Tandon is making a comeback in Telugu cinema with her. Radhika Sarathkumar is playing a pivotal role.
National Award winner G.V. Prakash Kumar is once again teaming up with Venky Atluri to deliver a musical experience.
Nimish Ravi will be handling the cinematography, while Naveen Nooli will be handling the editing. Bangalan will be handling the production design. The film is being jointly produced by producers S. Nagavamsi and Sai Saujanya, who are dedicated to successful films and quality films.
The film, which is scheduled to release during the summer holidays in 2026, will begin shooting in late May this year.
