Actress Nayanthara joins hands for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s #Mega157
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s much-anticipated #Mega157, directed by blockbuster hit machine Anil Ravipudi, is gearing up for a grand release. The film, which will be made in this amazing partnership, will be a complete entertainer. It is noteworthy that Chiranjeevi will be returning to a full-length comedy role after a long gap. The film is produced by Sahu Karapati under the Shine Screens banner in association with Sushmita Konidela’s Gold Box Entertainments and presented by Smt. Archana.
Known for his talent in creating big commercial entertainers and coming up with innovative and exciting promotions, Anil Ravipudi has done it once again. After the success of Sankranthi Vaastunnam, director Anil Ravipudi has been wowing with his unique sense of humour in the promotions of #Mega157. Today, he has released a stunning new video introducing Nayanthara as the lead pair of Chiranjeevi.
The video shows Nayanthara talking to her staff in Telugu, humming to Chiranjeevi’s classic songs during a car journey, reading the script and delivering one of Chiranjeevi’s signature lines, all with a bright sense of humour. Finally, Anil Ravipudi officially announces the news of Nayanthara joining him in the film.
Mega157 marks the third film in which Nayanthara will be seen teaming up with Chiranjeevi after her impactful roles in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and Godfather. Her participation in this innovative promotional campaign is a rare occurrence and is a testament to Anil Ravipudi’s creativity. The video not only highlights Nayanthara’s softer side but also the fun nature of her character.
Anil Ravipudi has written a unique character for Nayanthara, one that will be refreshing and memorable for the fans. Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara’s on-screen pairing is sure to be a visual treat for the audience.
While the shooting of the film has not yet begun, the promo is unique and interesting, from the initial announcement to the introduction of the technical team and the announcement of Nayanthara as the heroine.
Sameer Reddy is handling the cinematography, Beams Cicerolio is composing the music, and Thammiraju is handling the editing. Writers S Krishna and G Adhi Narayana are working on the screenplay, with S Krishna also serving as the executive producer. A S Prakash is serving as the production designer.
The film is expected to release for Sankranthi 2026, and director Anil Ravipudi has reaffirmed it with a new promotional video titled “Sankaranthi Rafathinsetham”.
