Mugen Rao’s ‘Jinn – The Pet’ music and preview launch
The music and preview launch of the movie ‘Jinn – The Pet’ starring Mugen Rao, the winner of ‘Bigg Boss Season 3’ and a popular actor and musician among Tamil fans through the movie ‘Velan’, was held in Chennai.
Directed by T. R. Bala, ‘Jinn – The Pet’ stars Mugen Rao, Bhavya Darika, Datto Radha Ravi, Bala Saravanan, Iman Annachi, Nandu Anand, Vadivukkarasi, ‘Nizhalgal’ Ravi, Vinothini Vaidyanathan, George Vijay, Rithvik and many others. Arjun Raja has handled the cinematography and Vivek-Mervin has composed the music for this movie. V. S. Dineshkumar has handled the editing while Deepak has handled the art direction. The film, which is being prepared as a comedy horror entertainer, is produced by D. R. Bala and Anil Kumar Reddy and co-produced by Venkatachalam, Fairy Tale Pictures, AR Touring Talkies Productions in association with VGV Creations and Cinemarasa Productions.
Justice S. K. Krishnan, retired police officer Panneerselvam IPS, spiritual orator Mahavishnu, producer K.A.R., FEFSI President R.K. Selvamani, Directors Association President R. V. Udayakumar, Secretary Perarasu, Vice President R. Aravindaraj, Guild President Jaguar Thangam were present along with the film crew at the music and preview launch ceremony. Many people are afraid of the director’s mother, Rajeshwari Amma. In fact, she is a revolutionary fighter. If you start interacting with her, you will either become an enemy or a friend. But she has never betrayed anyone.
After watching the songs and the preview of the film, I think that the Tamil film industry has got a wonderful talented team.
When we choose the heroine, we always look at the smile and eyes of the woman. In that way, Bhavya, who plays the heroine in this film, has a beautiful smile. She looks like Samantha. She has a great future in the South Indian film industry.
I have a request for the rising stars. Ask the director and writers directly for the story. Cinema is deteriorating because the actors’ managers and assistants have started asking for the story.
This is why healthy friendships do not exist in the film industry.
Whenever there is no understanding and friendship between a hero.. heroine and the director, that film immediately fails. I have learned this by studying my film.
Producer is a genius. If he thinks, he can give a solution to the current problem in the film industry. I have great faith in him.
Today, seven to eight lakh tickets are sold in cinemas every day. Through this, the cinema owners get a revenue of two crore rupees per day. They get a revenue of sixty crore rupees per month. All this is available to them through the producers of the film. But whether the producers get this income or not. If the film does not run, only the producer suffers a loss.
A producer friend of mine mentioned that it has been five months since the release of the film ‘Madha Gaja Raja’ and the collections have not been fully received. This is the current situation of the producers. Therefore, I request the Producers’ Association to hold talks in this regard and announce a good decision.
The film industry should be good. Workers have been in the film industry for more than 30 years. Producers do not last more than five years. Only a few producers have been successful in the film industry for more than 30 years.
I have said in our Pepsi General Committee that we, the workers, can be good only if the producers are good. 80 percent of the current producers treat the workers with great respect. So we also pray that they are good.
Producer Kyaar has a formula. Using it, he should find a solution to the current problems. Even if we have made a mistake, he can point it out. We are ready to correct ourselves.

I recently watched the trailer of the film. As soon as I saw it, I understood its quality. The hero-heroine combination was superb. Jin is a new concept. A film called ‘E.T.’ was released under the direction of Steven Spielberg. ‘My Dear Kuttichathan’ was based on it. ‘Jin’ is a film that is being made to appeal to children in that way.
I was happy when I heard that the audio rights and digital rights of the film have been sold. So this film has become a success even before its release. We can know the extent of its success through theaters from the 30th.

Producer Mrs. Rajeshwari Vendan said, ”Five years ago, my son asked me to register a title called ‘Jin’ with the Producers’ Council. After that, I talked to the Producers’ Council and registered the title as Jin. After that, this Jin has torn my family apart. My son tells this title and story to another company, they said it is good but no further work was done. After that, a leading film production company and a leading star actor took this title and story. He said. The story discussion took place. But the shooting did not take place. At this point, the title of the film belonged to another company. After that, we asked that company for the title. They refused to give it. After that, we discussed with the members of the Producers’ Council and named it ‘Jin the Bed’. After this, our family has been moving towards the top.
A section says that God exists. A section says that God does not exist. But Jin definitely exists. Only after naming it ‘Jin- the Bed’ has good things happened to us.
This jinn is grown in Malaysia.. The story of the film is based on it,” she said.
Actress Bhavya Tarika said, “On November 20, 2022, I was at my friend’s house. That’s when my friends told me about a thing called ‘jinn’. I didn’t believe in it that much at that time. They said that if you say a word and say it often, you will get its energy. I took that too for granted. I left from there at 2.30 am. After that, I rang the doorbell of my friend’s house for some reason. At that moment, my back was turned and the voice of ‘Bhavya’ rang. Hearing that, I got scared.
After that, the next morning, I was checking my social media. At that time, a follower named Jinsha liked it a lot and attracted attention. This scared me even more, so I immediately went to temples, churches, dargahs, and gurudwaras. After three months, I became normal. After that, I A script is coming. Its title is ‘Jin’. I was surprised.
Director Bala met me in a commercial complex in Chennai. At that time, I shared my experience with Jin with him. He was also surprised. That’s why I have played the heroine in the film. I believe that I also have a connection with Jin.
Director Bala is very calm. Patient. He can be friendly on the set. He gives a lot of freedom to the artists. I liked that. So, not only on the set but also while acting in the film, I was natural. For this, I thank him at this moment.

When I went to Malaysia for a promotional film, a relative of mine was raising a jinn as a pet in his house. They introduced it to me. This jinn can be raised in homes just like pets like dogs, cats, and birds. But there are some conditions. No water. No sunlight. I was surprised at first when they told me some conditions that it should be fed only at night.
I believe in ghosts and the supernatural, just like I believe in God. When they talked about jinn, I first saw their belief in them. They said that it is not only in Malaysia but also in Indonesia and Thailand. Later, I started researching this. If you type ‘Toyo’ in Google, you will see that there are many things about it. I created a story based on this.
When I spoke to a Malaysian magician in this regard, he advised me, ‘Don’t make a film about jinn as a comedy. Make it serious.’ But we have made it as a comedy horror film.
Many supernatural things happened on the set of the film. They said that the artists who participated in the film also had supernatural experiences related to jinn.
After creating the story of the film, I told this story to a major leading production company. They liked it very much. On their recommendation, I met a leading star actor and narrated the story to him. He praised the story and said that it was good. After that, due to various reasons, work on the film did not take place for two years. After that, I decided to produce and direct the film myself. This film will be released on the thirtieth of this coming year.
This film will bring great comfort and happiness to those who are suffering from depression, from children to adults. It is a complete family entertainer. I request everyone to visit the theater, watch, enjoy and support it,” he said.
