Mr. Kamal Haasan, the candidate of the Makkal Needhi Maiam Party, who is contesting the Rajya Sabha elections with the support of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam-led coalition parties, filed his nomination papers today in the presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and President of the DMK, Mr. M.K. Stalin, and the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin.
He was accompanied by the Vice Presidents of the Makkal Needhi Maiam Party, A.G. Maurya, I.P.S., (Retd.), R. Thangavelu and the General Secretary, A. Arunachalam M.A., B.L., who accompanied him.
