‘Chimera’ is the third film directed by Manik Jai, who directed the films Paramu and Selfish.
He played the lead role in the film ‘Vachukvaa’ and turned director with the film ‘Paramu’.
He has currently directed and acted in the film ‘Selfish’, which is being made in Tamil and Kannada.
In this case, Manik Jai has now completed the production and direction of the film ‘Chimera’.
LNT Ethish plays the debut hero in this film. Tharai Krishnan, Ranjith Kumar and another important character are playing different roles. Director Manik Jai plays the lead role.
Three people including Soumya, Krishna Nandu, and Gyaneshwari play the heroines of the story.
This film is based on the idea that if animal cells are injected into the human body, the human nature will change to animal nature.
Studies show that when cells from other animals are injected into animals, their characteristics are different in every way. We have named it ‘Chimera’ based on that.
Chimera is a Marathi word. It can be called Mano Rajyam (genetic change).
Since the story takes place around Bangalore, shooting has been done in Bangalore, Hampi, and Hosur in Karnataka.
The hero of the film, who transformed into that character and played it, was affected for almost two months after the shooting and was unable to recover from it, and he recovered only after medical treatment.
Director Manik Jai said about the film, “This is a scientific crime thriller film. It will be a new experience as no one has told a story from a new angle, namely if animal cells are injected into a human body. This will be an unpredictable story for suspense lovers, while there will be no shortage of comedy throughout the film and at the same time it will be a family-friendly film. In order to be realistic, we have cast only new faces in this film.
No matter which language you watch this film, it will feel like a film made for them.
This is a Pan India film and is being released in five languages, namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.
It has five songs. Unni Krishnan, Sathya Prakash, Prasanna,. Anuradha Bhatt, Manasa Holla and famous singers in their respective languages have sung.
Especially famous singer Anuradha Bhatt liked the songs of this film and wanted to sing a song in all the languages and sang one song in all five languages.
