First film song sung by TMS Soundararajan’s son TMS Selvakumar for the film Veeravanakam

The song for the film Veeravanakam has been released in memory of veteran communist leader and former Chief Minister of Kerala V. S. Achuthanandan. The title song of the film Veeravanakam, directed by Anil V. Nagendran, based on the history of sacrifice and struggle for rights of Comrade P. Krishnapillai and the communist movement, was released in Chennai today in memory of the beloved leader of the working class and former Chief Minister of Kerala V. S. Achuthanandan.

Comrade V. S. Achuthanandan from Alappuzha is one of the many brave youths brought by P. Krishnapillai to strengthen the Communist Party throughout the state of Kerala. This song, ‘Nallathor Naalaiyai Enggakkal Thandu Ponavare’, is a song that praises the various communist struggles that took place across our country, the leaders who led them, and their sacrifices. The evening song was released by Dravidar Kazhagam leader and author K. Veeramani (23.7.2025). The leaders and comrades of communist movements, who valued their lives as nothing, and the struggles they waged have earned them all rights, starting with basic human rights.
The song from the film “Veeravanakam”, created to commemorate those fighters and struggles, is released in honor of the memory of our late comrade and former Chief Minister of Kerala, V.S. Achuthanandan. I wish the film Veeravanakam, which clearly depicts the history, tradition, progressive thoughts and mutual love of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, success, said author K. Veeramani at the ceremony.
