It is evident that the objective of the writer, producer and director Vijayasekaran S. seems very genuine. The screenplay’s focus is on those who exploit women for monetary purposes and go to any extreme on their acts!
Here the ‘task’ in question is about the atrocities that happen in mortuaries where even the corpses of young girls are filmed in compromising poses and are let loose, online!
Swasthika who stole the show in Lubber Panthu plays an aspiring medico who gains access to the brutal activities inside the mortuary!
She has a noble agenda on hand of wanting to serve her people who have to travel nearly 60 kilometres to reach out for medical assistance!
As far as her brother is concerned, she is the apple of the eye and he would be willing to walk any extra mile to accomplish it!
Vela Ramamurthy doesn’t exactly fit the role of a cop while Mottai Rajendran too fails to create a flutter as a brutal baddie!
Swasthika is impressive as a girl wanting to serve her community.
Raja C. Sekar’s camera has captured the beauty of the Ghats well.
S. T. Suresh Kumar’s dialogue deserves mention.
