In a village in present-day Tamil Nadu, a beautiful friendship between a man and a woman from different communities is being ruined by casteist attitudes. The film tells the story of P Krishna Pillai, a personality who actually lived in Tamil Nadu and Kerala and fought against the oppression of justice through the help of a great man who prevents it.
The film is a work that speaks of the progressive thinking and Dravidian ideology of Father Periyar, and the cultural ties between Tamil Nadu and Kerala, and is a work that beautifully speaks of love, action scenes, and suspense. The film is produced and directed by director Anil V. Nagendran.
Actor Samuthirakani plays the lead role in the film. Actor Bharath plays a village elder, a role he has never played before. Ritesh, Prem Kumar, Ramesh Bisharadi, Surabi Lakshmi, P.K. Medhini, Adarsh, Siddhanthana, Aishwika, Aristo Suresh, Siddique play important roles.
The film has been shot in Madurai, Nagercoil, Tirunelveli and Kerala.
The film has music by M K Arjunan, Perumbavoor G. Ravindranath, James Vasanthan, C.J. Kuttappan and Udayakumar. TMS Selvakumar, son of veteran Tamil playback singer T.M. Soundararajan, has sung a wonderful song in the film.
