‘Azhagar Yaani’ to be made with the style of ‘Nalla Neram, Annai Orr Alayam’ to attract children

‘Azhagar Yaani’ is a film produced by Sivashankar under SV Productions. This is the second film directed by Mangaleswaran, who directed the film Maragathakad. Vijay TV fame plays the hero. ‘Kaduvetti’ Vismiya, Nandini, Aryan, Aadukalam Murugadoss and child stars Karunya and Gokul play the main roles. Apart from them, an 80-foot tall elephant plays a major role in this film.

Director Mangaleswaran says about the film, “In today’s environment, many people are losing faith in life. Rather than helping someone by giving them money or medical help, it is more important to give them hope mentally. This ‘Azhagaar Yaani’ is being developed as a film that gives such hope. Like rain and wind for everyone, this ‘Azhagaar Yaani’ is sowing love and hope for everyone.

There is a 169-foot-tall elephant statue in Gangakonda Cholapuram. After Rajendra Chola’s victory, he installed the elephant and named it ‘Azhagar Yaani’. A Chola king named it Azhagar, which was used in the Pandya country. We have named the film ‘Azhagar Yaani’ to sow that kind of hope.

This film is being developed in a way that children can enjoy by focusing on the elephant, like MGR’s Nalla Neram, Rajinikanth’s Annai Or Alayam, and Kamal’s Ram Lakshman. In this film, the elephant is playing the role of children, and Vijay TV, which is very popular with children The film will surely appeal to not only children but also all sections of the society due to its famous acting. Comedian Aadukalam Murugadoss and villain actor Aryan are playing completely different characters in this film,” he said.

The puja of the film was held recently. ISRO Joint Director S.V. Sharma, Dr. Nadesh Murthy ISRO, Karnataka DGP K. Ramachandra Rao, Pratap Kumar IAS, Justice Rajiv Gowda, Y M Visveswara Raju, Akshay Bhutagire inaugurated the puja.
