“Bhagyaraj sir chose the title for the story of ‘Andha Ezhu Natkal!”
Director Sundar has directed ‘Andha Ezhu Natkal’, a science-based romantic film. In this film, Vineeth alias Ajith plays the protagonist who avoids an unfortunate incident, while the heroine Sriswetha plays a lawyer. Producer Murali Kabirdas has produced this film on behalf of Bestcast Studios. Producer Murali Kabirdas aims to provide a good cinematic experience to the audience through unique quality stories and to give opportunities to new talents such as producers, directors and writers.
Producer Murali Kabirdas shared about the film, “When I decided to make the film, I wanted to give the fans good stories and a good cinematic experience that they have never seen before. There are many genres and stories that have not been told. Today’s young generation should take up all this and do it. Bestcast Studios is ready to give an opportunity to such talents. It has become the need of the hour to tell new stories rather than telling the same stories over and over again in Tamil cinema.”
Director Sundar worked as an assistant director to famous director Bhagyaraj. He directed this film following the experience and guidance of his mentor. The director shared about the film, “When I told the story to producer Murali sir, he immediately agreed because it was a different story. We have put 100% genuine effort and brought it to life. Since I was with Bhagyaraj sir, I thought we could choose one of his two titles, ‘Darling Darling’ and ‘Andha Ezhuvathukta’. After listening to the story, Bhagyaraj sir said that ‘Andha Ezhuvathukta’ would be suitable and gave his consent to use the title. Otherwise, this story has no connection with Bhagyaraj sir’s story. Bhagyaraj sir plays the role of a minister in this film. I was privileged to direct him. The hero Ajithej was found on the social networking site Insta. The heroine is Sree Swetha Coimbatore Ponnu. Both have acted well. My son Sachin Sundar is starting his musical journey as a music composer through this film.”
The teaser of the film has been released and is receiving a lot of attention, and the film is set to hit the theatres on September 12.
