While most of the new breed of filmmakers try and venture themes most of which go overboard in scripting as well as in execution, here is a discerning filmmaker who has set his focus on human unity, setting the narration adjacent to a mountain range with a peacock in position to cheer the entire neighborhood while a halo of light shines up the mountain backdrop!
Indeed it is a rate opportunity for the lead actor, Arjun Das to parade his talent in a role while outshining veterans as Nasser and Kali Venkat!
Bala Saravanan’s character has been dished out well and he tickles our funny bones, at places!
Kaali Venkat asserts his class yet again in a powerful role enacting the character of a well-meaning guy who strives hard to re-unite the villagers who have split into two groups on flimsy grounds!
Ably supported by Arjun Das who plays a simple guy so spares no effort to bring about a change in the mindsets of the two warring groups.
Shivathmika Rajashekhar has less scope but managed to create a flutter!
Kali Venkat is Kathir who wants the split groups to turn into one while Prabha (Shivathmika Rajashekhar) is his adorable sister.
Mani (Arjun Das) is a do-gooder who is also a good friend of Kathir.
How these two guys join hands to bring about a revolutionary change in the minds of the biggies belonging to both groups is the interesting rest.
Nasser is impressive as a local politician while Abhirami makes her present felt as the new Collector desirous of ringing in a change! But her stand about being a non-believer who respects the beliefs of the others doesn’t exactly find expression in the climax!
In all, a well meant movie that has been well conceived, crafted and executed!
