Nijam Cinema is producing the film ‘Vellakuthira’, directed by Saranraj Senthilkumar and starring Harish Ori and Abhirami Bose. The audio launch of the film, which will be released at the end of this month, was held in Chennai today
The film has received 62 international nominations and 54 winners.
The film has received 26 for Best Actor, 23 for Best Film, and six for Best Technician.
At this event, Mr. Pak Kiaraj, RK Selvamani, Mr. Dhananjayan, Mr. D. Siva, Director R V Udayakumar, Director Perarasu, Director Ajayan Bala, Mr. Kugan, Actor Vidharth, Producer Jayaprakasham and the film crew participated and graced the event.
Actor Vidharth said,
Beyond Vella Kuthira, I would like to talk about the friendship between the protagonist of this film and Ori. I was introduced to Ori from the film Parattai called Azhugasundaram. Apart from my friends in Koothupattarai, I have no friends outside. The only friend I have outside is Ori. He is an important friend to me. I go to his house and go out. I got the film Myna when I arrived.
Like Myna, this film was also made with difficulty… Congratulations on the success of this film..
Actress Abhirami Bose said. Although Vella Kuthira was my first Tamil film, I acted in many languages like Malayalam, Marathi, Hindi, Vella Kuthira is a very important film for me. I loved it because it was a unique life story and the importance of the female character. My heartfelt congratulations to the team.
Music composer Bharath Aseevakan said that our music family spans three generations. In the film Vella Kuthira, I have composed music according to the lyrics without changing the smell of the soil.
Director Charanraj Senthilkumar said:
When producer and actor Harish Ori asked me to make a film based on the hardships faced by people in the mountainous area above our village without roads, I stayed there for a month and watched their suffering and directed the film. Regarding the film Vellakuthira, this story is what chose me as the director. I have taken it as a story about the ancestors and I hope that this film will be successful with your blessings.

Mr. Bhagyaraj said… When I saw Vella Kuthira, the hero of the film Harish, he left his hometown to act and gained experience as a Koothupattarai artist for 13 years, and worked hard.. Today, he has made his debut as a hero through this Vella Kuthira. His friend, actor Vidharth, spoke beautifully about him.. Shooting 13 kilometers on a mountain top with no footpath, 5 times in a mountain lake is not an easy task, so they took such effort and stayed there for 48 days and shot.
