One of the much anticipated movies of the times, this flick that is enriched by its production values and performance transports the audience to a bye gone era wherein the Studio System was in existence in a very big way while the filmmakers made movies that were closer to the heart and the artistes concerned delivered heart felt performances!
Two big screen stars of Mollywood and Tollywood -Dulquer and Rana have bankrolled this magnum opus playing pivotal roles in the process!
New find Bhagyashrii fits the role adequately and hers is a noteworthy perfomance.
The second half of the movie is mostly taken over by Rana who evidently goes overboard while on a process of investigation overlooking the orders of even superior officials.
Dulquer fills the bill to a reasonable extent while Samudrakani’s portrayal passes muster!
The rest of the supporting cast do their parts with understanding.
The team work of the cinematographer, editor, composer and the art director deserve mention.
The crux of the plot is centred around the ego clash between a popular actor and a famous director who is also his mentor while a new heroine falls a victim to their fight for superiority!
She gets shot while being on a shoot schedule on the sets and how the murder mystery gets resolved is the rest.
Worth watching for the magnitude of the rich production values.
