Cycle Pure Agarbathi Extends Support to Differently abled Students with Scholarship Program for Fourth
Consecutive Year
The brand has reaffirmed its commitment to differently-abled students, with plans to expand to more states across India
Chennai, 21 November 2025: Cycle Pure Agarbathi, India’s leading agarbathi manufacturer, continues to empower differently-abled children by extending scholarships for the fourth consecutive year under its socially driven initiative. This year’s ceremony saw Mr. Amarnath Dutta, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Cycle Pure Agarbathi, handing over the cheque to Ms. Mageswari and Ms. P Arunadevi, Society for the Rehabilitation of the Differently Abled Women and Development, reaffirming the brand’s dedication to inclusive education and community development.
The scholarship programme, launched in 2022, focuses on supporting differently-abled girls aged 12–17 from economically challenged backgrounds, enabling them to access quality education, life skills, and holistic growth. The initiative builds on the legacy of the Ranga Rao Memorial School for Differently Abled (RMSD) in Mysuru, which has been transforming the lives of visually challenged girl children since 1988.
This year’s event was held at the Society for Rights of All Women with Disabilities, Srinivasa Gandhi Nilayam, where students, parents, teachers, and representatives from Cycle Pure Agarbathi gathered to celebrate the collective progress made over the years.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Amarnath Dutta said, “It is a privilege to be part of these young girls’ journeys for the fourth year in a row. Their courage, determination, and aspirations remind us why this work matters. Through our continued support, we aim to create pathways for differently-abled children to pursue their goals with dignity and independence. We remain committed to scaling this initiative to reach many more children across India.”
On the occasion, Ms. Mageswari from the Society for the Rehabilitation of Differently Abled Women and Development expressed her gratitude, noting that this marks the fourth consecutive year Cycle Pure Agarbathi has extended its support to 40 differently abled girl students. She highlighted that such sustained commitment not only empowers the students with education and opportunities but also reflects the brand’s enduring dedication to inclusivity, community upliftment, and the creation of a more equitable future.
One of the scholarship recipients, Divyadarshini, expressed, “The support and encouragement I received from the scholarship gives me confidence that my dreams matter. I want to become a teacher and help other girls like me. Cycle Pure Agarbathi has made me believe that nothing is impossible.”
With successful interventions in Mysuru and Chennai, Cycle Pure Agarbathi is actively exploring opportunities to expand the programme to additional states, ensuring that more differently-abled children receive the support they deserve. Celebrating its 77-year legacy of trust and social responsibility, the brand is further championing women empowerment through training, entrepreneurship, and leadership opportunities, reinforcing its enduring commitment to uplift communities, honor heritage, and create a more equitable and inspiring future for generations to come.
